This week's contest is titled Drawbacks by Mike Shenk

The answer to this week's contest crossword is a group that plays a part in the art world.

Good luck to all with the grid and the metam

Submitted. Not certain why or how the mechanism is what it is but the result is way too appropriate to be an enormous coincidence. So consider me on shore....

On shore! Thought the grid was a challenge compared to most weeks.

Onshore - tough grid. Meta was done in under 2 minutes in a first for me.

On shore. Grid was a little tricky, but the meta came quickly.

Ditto what Rob M just said! Just as well I finished today as I am taking Mark for a medical procedure tomorrow (routine) and he was afraid I'd be pestering everyone in the waiting room!
Good luck, fellow Muggles! I'm happy to give nudges, but only if you're still stuck on Sunday.

Scratching my head on the beach. I got it, but don't quite get it, and I'm not sure what to submit. A few rounds from the Tiki Bar should help!

Still something I need to figure out, but count me ashore.
Tough grid (liked 17A, though).

on the beach, for certain, but agree that it's not as clean as some.

Uh oh. That’s what people were saying about the pageant puzzle.

I’d call this a 100%er.

That's because Meg's cabana boy is off duty.
