I'm pretty sure the price of Thunderbird was forty twice, but I did drink a lot of it so no telling what it and others equally awful -- Annie Green Springs, anyone? -- did to my brain cells. Thunderbird was truly vile. How in the world they got the ever suave James Mason to sell their swill is a mystery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS45gE5Mlf8

And he poured it over ice!

I've had seeply mouth a few times. It's a malady caused by imbibing excessive quantities of the budget beers and wines that are so popular among this crowd.Bob cruise director wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 12:44 pmEvery time I see your post, I think of a billboard which along the Mass Pike in the BerkshiresPlymouthrock wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 12:12 pm For the sake of our percentages, I’m weighing in.
Ashore!
SEEPLYMOUTH
At 75 mph, most of us read it as SEEPLY MOUTH and wondered what it meant.

Sometimes, I admit,
I am too slow to get it,
No light bulb yet lit.
On board... in bar... two potential methods, but neither 100%

Just so yo know - you weren't truly a muggle until you made that post. It's sorta like going to AA - you aren't really committed until you've asked for help.madhatter5 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 1:50 pm Hi, I'm Josh, a new muggle who is getting hooked on these puzzles. You may have to take my word on this, but once you've had Mad Dog in your sinuses, you'll never make that mistake, again.

Now I'm ashore! Would not have seen that without the nudge.

After shipwreck last week, on shore with no hints, no nudges. As usual, slowed down by a tendency to look for complications where none exist.

Before you say, "fudge"
On a puzzle that won't budge,
Ask here for a hint.

Ashore!
Internet connection issues prevented me from spending much time on it this weekend (I work the puzzle online), but a timely nudge from Puzzle-Working Mom saved the day.

Got to the puzzle late, and I can't for the life of me make sense of the clue for 36-Across. Too many subjects and objects there for me to parse. I'll take another look at it around 11 pm and see if my brain subconsciously figured it out.

Thank you, but not yet,
I am not in the “hint” set,
A beer though? You bet!

I’m still aboard despite trying and trying again... lots of rabbit holes today! Anyone able to offer a clue? Thank you

Sunday afternoon and I still haven't found a toehold. Maybe if I complain about being lost at sea...
