I looked at this and thought-- what muggle goes by [the answer]? Oh....the clue. This doesn't bode well for solving the puzzle if I'm this clueless already!

Ashore! Earliest ever for me!! Just in time to meet daughter and her M-I-L for a glass of wine. Maybe I’ll have a nice cold Pinot Grigio 😎. That sounds like just the thing to cut through all this smoke. AQI 159 here.

Took me a minute, but I see it now. Ashore. Three weeks in a row -- back on track?

Ashore.
Nice to get an easier one this week - Rosh Hashana is almost here and there is plenty more to get done before then.
Sal - blow your shofar!
Shana tova all, have a happy, healthy, sweet new year.

I have an answer, but something else is bothering me about this one. Will continue pondering the alternative.

This will be a good introduction to meta strategies for new solvers.

I am ashore in time for a Thursday happy hour, unusual for me. Think I'll celebrate with a Cuba Libre. Top shelf rum, of course.

Hmm, not seeing it. Do you have yo be a subscriber?
With that link above, I think you do. Notice the word "accounts."
But I copied a link when I got there, pasted in another, browser, did not sign in, and it worked.

Thanks, that was awesome! I am grateful that I was not a meta-solver when TWOFERS came along, because...not in a million years!

As with others, I'm on shore, early, and without a mis-step. (Without a mis-step or rabbit hole, is rare for me.) I am always reluctant to make a judgment of "easy". Sometimes I get nowhere, and when the answer is announced, I think "Oh obvious." (Not last week's DOZE for which I never even got close to the first step.) But this one was which came to me using the puzzle name without a hitch. And it's Thursday.

I would not have solved ANY of the 4 puzzles they worked today - My best shot would have been the animals one and that was like 4-1 odds.

To paraphrase Tina Turner in Proud Mary, you can do things easy or do them hard. I found both an easy and a hard way to get to shore.
