Some weekends, I have just too much fun to work hard on the meta.
Last week, hard work. Got it.
This week. Not so much. Listening to back half of All Things Must Pass. I Remember Jeep! Ahh, Saturday night.
Pour me another one, me good Publican! "Isaac", is it? Thanks for the Pepperoni Isaac. Turn it up.

Harboring some doubt? Once I got the meta I thought it was a 100% certainty. Please post your second thoughts on Monday.

Printed some extra copies of this puzzle and gave them out at our book club meeting Thursday night. Heard from two members today that had worked the grid, but didn't know how to proceed. I gave encouragement. Don't know whether either of them will come over to the dark side. I will continue to try to lure them in. Will probably see one or both of them at church tomorrow. I will assess the situation at that time.

Tempting good people at church. Got that sinner-saint thing going!

First a welcome to our newest muggle Caleb from the WSJ page

If you have not seen the video on the muggles and metas, please find one of the links above. It is great. If you had any doubts about whether our comments here are read by the WSJ editors and writers, this should leave no doubt.

An interesting meta by Patrick Berry. However we have 125 on the shore and 6 still working on it with Isaac.

Finally - we had a great video gathering on Tuesday. Great fun and everyone is invited - new muggles, young muggle, inexperienced muggles and especially muggles who have a blog name that is unique. And thanks to Sal for setting it up.
I'm on shore Bob, but I'm looking forward to the meetup on Tuesday to discuss a lingering doubt that makes me only 99.999% sure... :-)

Ashore! I think the KAS scale could mean how many coffee cups it takes before solving. Coffee pots on some days!

Safely on shore with a cup of coffee this morning.

This is a 100%er for me.

Would have posted earlier but was busy trying to level my porch without actually leveling (collapsing) it. Successful, but now I have to replace the stairs I destroyed in doing it. As they say in the south, "they needed destroying."

Add me to the shipmates! Isaac can easily keep up.

I may be trying too hard! I have redone the grid four times and wandered down several rabbit holes.

I am not quitting. I solved last week at 11:05 PM. Unfortunately I live in the CDT zone.

And then 45 minutes after declaring myself ensconced on the ship I remembered something I noticed the first time through the grid on Friday morning! I am definitely on shore but exhausted from the long dog paddle.
