On shore! But not as neat as other puzzles. Maybe I’m missing something but it answered the question... and sangria for me! For the past 20 years!

Made it to land! Must say though the grid was not in my wheelhouse, that NE corner was... oof!

My first (official) drink ;) at 21 was a Yuengling, which is easy enough, but I too would back the Guinness or a Blue Moon.

I made to the beach early this week.

Patrick Berry is one of my favorites and this one didn’t disappoint. It was only after a post-solve review that I realized how elegant the puzzle is.

I don't think the following comment counts as a spoiler - except perhaps to reveal both my age and my ignorance...

I did not know 54D. So the only answer that came to my mind for "Wood that doesn't float" was the punchline to a joke of dubious taste that you'd have to be boomer plus to remember/get:

That is so sick. I loved it!

I'm still blanking on that NE corner. Couple other gaps too.

I think the "Mr. G" people refer to from time to time must mean "Google." If I can't crack this thing by tomorrow night, I may start Sunday morning with Mass and Mr. G.

Still 73A. I'll have a 73A.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

I love every one of Patrick Berry's puzzles and this one was great too! I had never heard of Conkers or the curried pork dish, but the crosses helped me out there. Safely ashore getting ready to celebrate Independence Day next week.

And we have two Beth's at 4:44 and 4:47 with adjacent posts. I think they are one person trying to double their odds winning the mug.

Just noticed a feature of this puzzle that makes it a truly incredible construction. I'm just wowed!
I think I know what you're referring to. Very impressive, indeed.
