That trailing "t" should be a "z."

Finished the grid, but still working to try and figure out my first meta after starting on maybe the most discouraging one possible last week. Seems like everyone else here has it, so I’m sure something will stick out to me eventually :-)

Yeah, this one went down smooth and I've already had a couple local IPA's. On shore and bracing myself for whatever Matt has in store for tomorrow.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

Not seeing it unfortunately, think I went down a bad rabbit hole and can't get out of it.

Just swam ashore. And I think it’s time for a Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout (for real ... 😜).

This kind of makes up for last week, when I had the right idea and just couldn’t work out the details ... 😳.

Pleasantly plopped upon the proper playa. Good to be on the right shore this week. Cheers.
'tis... A lovely day for a Guinness!

I’m at odds with the meta at this point. Not seeing it. However, if everyone else thinks it is an easy one, no worries that I will get it solved this weekend.

The wsj page for the puzzle says: "something people who are at odd often do"

At odd? I've been called worse and in worse places than this.

Haven't started the puzzle yet, but jealous of the Sammy Smith's Oatmeal Stout already.

Another fun one, but it's always kind of sad to get the meta answer halfway through the grid.

On shore! I have no idea how some of you could get the answer halfway through the grid. You'll have to explain after the deadline!

Turtle?
That’s what I rode in on. I’m just not fast at solving the grid.

Don't worry - I've been doing the WSJ for 15 months and only ever solved 3! So no matter what you'll never be the worst.

Ashore . . . but had to print out the PDF, solve by hand, and e-mail response for the contest answer; the online forms weren't working.

But, ashore. Which is what matters.
