On the beach without a struggle! Though had I not googled bands at Woodstock, I would've submitted the wrong band!

I was 15 and living in California, so I was a little too young and a little too remote to have gone to Woodstock, but I was aware of it at the time (never cared much for huge crowd scenes, anyway). So I knew the name of the meta answer without having to Google.

Solved and Submitted. "Hill Street Blues" brings back great memories. I wish the series was in broadcast syndication.

I'm too young for Woodstock and haven't quite finished the grid yet, but I'm pretty sure I see where it's going.
Count me ashore.

I was 18 and working in a camp in Rockland County, NY when Woodstock took place. I had some friends who were going and turned down the chance. The feedback the following week from those I knew who went was mixed. The festival has been glorified over the years but the rain and the traffic put a damper on it for some. Despite that, kinda wish I could say I had been there.

On shore! Enjoyed this one. It's amazing how Matt and all the other meta writers continue to come up with original ideas.

My only connection to Woodstock is that my brother's ex-girlfriend claims to have been conceived in the back of a stolen ambulance at Woodstock. It's quite possible.
