Not much social distancing at Woodstock, eh?
Any Muggles who were there?
Passed on an offer for a ride from a carful of friends who were headed out...and have been kicking myself for 51 years.

Enjoyed the puzzle, despite the fact that the phrase “...that would complete the theme” sort of terrifies me. I think I’ve had trouble with some of those in the past.
Hmmm... you make a good point.

On shore as well. Meh is an understatement! Really wishing I save these puzzles for later in the weekend. Back to binge watching TV shows...any recommendations? Have a great weekend, all!

No, but I was in Haight Ashbury for the Summer of Love. Does that count?

A classmate of mine went with his older brother and their very adventurous mom, but they had to make an emergency exit when the brother came down with appendicitis.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

What a fabulous, intelligent, entertaining series that was. As soon as I saw the clue, I could hear the theme music in my head.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Make a mushroom sauce with a little red wine.
Do you have a good recipe?

Just saute sliced mushrooms with some garlic. When they are browned, pour in about a 1/4 to 1/3 cup of red wine to deglaze the pan. Voila!

Ashore. Easy grid, easy meta --- the real difficulty will be winning the mug given the large number of correct entries that I predict.

Ashore, with no excuses for working in the yard this weekend. . . unless I can find Hill Street Blues online. . .

Done and done. Gonna need a bigger shore to fit all who will be on it with regard to social distancing rules.

Firmly on shore.

Earliest I have been done in a long time. It MUST be a KAS 1.

Didn't go to Woodstock, because I was busy mowing lawns for my summer job. And I was still in grade-school.

I made up for it by attending multiple Grateful Dead concerts (where they were coherent, unlike at Woodstock).

Hmmm. {I'm assuming this was intentional.]
Nothing intentional on my part perhaps you mean Matt’s? I don’t think I posted any spoiler? Just describing my aha moment.

On shore, tried to make it a little harder than it was because there is yet another pattern I ma wondering if others saw? Anyway, I like my second choice (and first I submitted) better.

I drove past Woodstock area in 1969 on my way to the Catskills with my paramour of the time making the comment, "looks like it will be way too busy and it's only a concert, besides it might rain", seems like I was no smarter then than now.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!
