This week's contest is titled 2+2=5 by Matt Gaffney

The answer to this week's contest crossword is a word heard in math class. (not that word another one)

Also as a resource and a lot of work by a couple of muggles, the past WSJ crossword contests and solutions are available on the blog at Come Aboard/FAQs – community/Past WSJ Crossword Contests & Solutions. They provide a tremendous resource for learning and refreshing about the techniques used to solve meta contests

Not a problem... send your hot coffee to my house and I'll get it right back to you the way you like it.

Well, I certainly made this harder than it had to be. On the beach, which leaves me time for the other metas we have this weekend!

Quick trip to shore. I'll take a light beer - the Guinness is starting to show.

On shore, having a light beer with TMart.

Had a brief wave of panic when I saw numbers in the title, but I took some deep breaths, and it was okay.

Ashore. I feel confident about my answer, but pretty "meh" about the puzzle overall.

On shore. I thought the puzzle was fun, although I must admit that my knowledge of Kansas Congressmen and Audrey Tautou movies is pretty limited.

Kas 1 - the Metas that yield the A-Ha Moment too early...and I'm irritable about it, because I'm a dork.

Now watch the crossword gods give me an MGWCC tomorrow that leaves me completely and utterly lost.

Now you've done it. At least we'll have someone to blame, now.

Had to circle the wagons for a few minutes before the light came on.
