That was definitely a possibility but I was out in 25 degree windy weather photographing a short eared owl

On shore. With this being a week 2 for MGWCC, it looks like another weekend not working on metas.

Thanks for a good one PB. I do love this guy as well. His Saturday Rows Garden was killer fun, as always. 🙋‍♀️

My kind of meta this week....stress free and enjoyable. What can I say? Something about it just drew me in.

Back-stroked ashore just now (but not until after I had stared into space for a while ... 😜). Another good one.

Bagged and tagged. Ashore! This puzzle was a welcome respite from the dual threat of a near-dead laptop and Quicken acting up!

Funny that I happened to be listening to Ella Fitzgerald while approaching the middle third of the puzzle.

Have a great weekend, all!!
'tis... A lovely day for a Guinness!

Everyone knew that the Patriots were living on borrowed time - even when they were 8-0. So we move on. The problem is that we have to live for another two solid months with radio and TV commentators pontification on what will happen to Brady. Wake me when March 17 comes

I am ripping at Quicken. I have used them for 15 years and while I am not thrilled I have upgraded every three years for $45. The only reason I upgraded was to be able to download data from banks and credit cards into Quicken. Now they have gone to this subscription system for $45 a year which is triple the cost.

I usually do not even look at the crossword contest until Friday morning, but actually had some time to spare earlier today. I couldn't believe it when I made it to shore before I started making dinner. What a great way to start the weekend!

Adios, Isaac...hellooooo cabanaaahhh!!! And an absolutely no question "you know you're right," though while I sorta (?) came to the right idea early on, I did some rabbit hole exploration, so I'm calling it a Level 2.5. Totally fun, in any event!
