Getting some undivided attention from Isaac today.

Solved puzzle on-line. Saw nothing.

Transposed to paper grid. Saw what I believed was 1st step because it made sense.

Can’t seem to get to step 2. Seeing on this thread how easy it is supposed to be...and I figured out Wonder Twins...

Will work on more this afternoon. I still have 9 hr and 45 minutes...

I think my 'Onshore' declaration was missed (#127 on page 7). I hope it's not because I used 'onshore' rather than 'on shore'. :-) Both are legit.

Onshore! Too late for the noontime count, but happy to be on the beach nonetheless.

Not at all. I have you on the shore in my spreadsheet but typed you in as Joseph B rather than Joedbee. I have a column for the name on the WSJ page and a second column for the name on the blog to keep things straight. When I do the list, I pick one or the other.

On shore since Friday but forgot to post. The meta solved quicker than Thursday's daily puzzle and its hidden cleverness. It's always tough when there are answers on the grid that make no sense and I assume there are new slang words or abbreviations out there unbeknownst to me. And then the light appears!!

On shore.

Lots to enjoy here. But I’m particularly impressed by the squeaky-clean grid!

Just getting to it, so firmly in the bar with Isaac at this point, but I got distracted reading this thread and started working through the list of drinks I found from fellow Muggles...
Warsteiner Dunkel
Guinness
Mai tai
Bailey’s hot chocolate (mmmm!)
IPA (even more mmmm!)
Something 40D
A hot toddy
VSOP Cognac
and last but not least... some Cabernet
Great suggestions but next time I might change the sequence... :~} Hoping to see the light soon, but the squeeze box is out and I’m trying to do a jig, so not much chance!
EDIT: That jig sorted me out... saw it right after I sat down to recover! Ashore!

I downloaded the wrong puzzle from last year (Across Lite version) and was confused with these posts. On shore now.

Late to the party but before the deadline. On shore. Not as easy as last week's but pretty straightforward.

So close. We have 142 on the shore against last week's record of 146. Since the Green Bay - Seattle game is close, I will send out the final status at the end of the game.

18 points is close? I guess after KC's incredible game it might seem so.... but that was a 20 point game.

In any case please add that I'm watching from shore. I forgot to post earlier.
