Solved, after one coincidence that delayed things a bit. I can't decide whether to have a cocktail or one of the little candy bars I have ready for the Trick or Treaters. Probably will manage both before the evening is over.

On shore! Did this in between minding the door on trick-or-treat night. We'd better get more kids or I'm going to be left with too many leftover candies!

That was fun! I initially went in the wrong rabbit hole, but then I figured it out. Mike and Matt are crafty rabbits! (Heidi)

Eric Porter wrote: โ†‘Thu Oct 31, 2019 5:50 pm I'm on shore. I had a harder time than usual with the grid.

At first I went down a rabbit hole which turned out to be very similar to the correct way to solve it. While looking for confirmation, I stumbled on the correct path.

I'm guessing we'll have fewer than 1000 correct answers for the third week in a row.
Eric, I suspect we did exactly the same thing -- because that was my experience, too.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Fairly quick swim ashore aided by Halloween chocolate stolen from the kiddy basket.

A couple inches of snow didnโ€™t keep the trick or treaters away. I think I found the coincidence that Toby found. That plus a couple false trails slowed me down a bit.

Just finished the puzzle. Iโ€™ll take a crack at the meta later. In my ten minutes of staring, nothing jumped out. But I saw a few possibilities, though thatโ€™s not necessarily a good sign.

Took a while, but a quick solve and a 100%er once I saw the light. Guinness for a starter.

Went down a number of blind alleys on this, but finally saw the light. On shore.

I must be missing something. I have an answer and method that fit with the title. But it wasn't neat and tidy. I've got a lot of leftover candies that I don't know what to do with.

Ashore!

This one came quickly, which is nice, because we're visiting, with no printer available, so I had to recreate the grid on grid paper, and so as not to wake the others, I did this one on the floor, by only the light of the laptop computer.

Oh, we Muggles are dedicated!
