Well why do the emoji icons change when I submit them? Tea cup turns to soup bowl and my outbox doesnโ€™t look right at all. Darn.
I think perhaps that only Joe Ross could explain the emoji mysteries.
To see them better, highlight them & select the HUGE size.

[ s i z e = 2 0 0 ] (your icon) [ / s i z e ]

I like your icon. I'd steal it except that by next week I won't remember where I put it.

But speaking of icon weirdness, it looks different in the composition window than in your post.

Dino me!

Arrived home last night, after a long day of driving, to this delightful puzzle. Loved the grid. Loved the meta. An impressive debut indeed. Looking forward to many, many more wonderful puzzles from Sara Cantor!

I can't say it any better than this, so I won't. Ditto! (well, except for the driving part)

"First time" solver of these puzzles. Enjoyable one!

Question - is the puzzle only available online (or as a print)? No PUZ version?

Nice debut puzzle. Busy few days for me. The first part jumped out at me while filling in the grid. (A first)

I had no idea what to do with what I had in spite of coming back to the puzzle multiple times over several days. And then today as I sat down to look at my notes there it was! Also a first.

And then? The answer CLEARLY supporting the title!

Wow. Well done.

Man talk about running a marathon for your first run! Really nice debut puzzle with lots of interesting cluing and interesting twists and turns. Didnโ€™t see the mechanism at first and even then took a while to catch on but I am done yay! I even learned a thing or two.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!
