"Herd Mentality"

#1

Post by BrianMac »

Welcome to this week's installment of Muggle Meta Mondays! This puzzle is called "Herd Mentality," and the answer to the meta is the name of a 7-letter animal.

You can send your answer to me by PM, and I will post some nudges on Wednesday. I gave up handicapping my puzzles months ago, however, I feel pretty confident saying that you should find this one pretty easy. A little Google may be necessary so I will call it a Week 2.

I will post the answer and explanation this Sunday afternoon, along with the correct number of answers received. Maybe I will also try to remember to post a leader board during the week. Also, I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and award a random correct solver this collection of 50 New York Times Thursday puzzles:

Good luck and I hope you enjoy the puzzle!

Lynne asked, "What are you chuckling at?" I answered, "Brian's clues."

Very amusing!

I'm off the couch. And now more knowledgeable of a particular subject.

Very smooth grid, with welcome philosophy jargon thrown in, and a tight meta. Thanks, Brian!

And this contest has no rule against multiple submissions, so you could try them all. Though Brian might prefer not getting 158 PMs. No, better to just solve the meta.

But right now I have a 24A, and no 40A
