I think I am off the couch (awaiting confirmation).
Lots of fun Sistine clues. My favorite: 65A. :)

That was mine too. I think you might need to seek professional help.

Clue for 61A cracked me up and the answer took me surprisingly long to get, considering I still find myself using words <like that> 40 years after attending school in <that place>! Much to the annoyance of friends and family.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Grid is under control; one clue strikes me as odd. Shreds and tatters of meta abound, still working on getting it all to mesh.

May need the first nudge to move forward. Cheers!

Happy Nudge Wednesday... here is the first of your Dr. Pepper (10 2 4) nudges:

The five long acrosses are themed entries, but there are other ways to get the answer...

a-HA! Something that occurred to me literally 2 minutes into the puzzle came back in my head 2 days later, in a different way. And while drinking a Dr Pepper no less.

Can now see two ways to get there. Can’t wait to hear if there are more.

Great puzzle, Al!

Here is the 2 PM Dr. Pepper nudge:

Another way to parse the title -- which does not refer to the musical of the same name -- is "I am singing this song about <someone/something>. Who am I?

Same. I'm completely lost on the space of the couch in the sea.

And here is the 4 PM nudge

Some people have hiccupped at the singer of the fourth theme girl, because there are three fairly famous versions. What I was looking for is a solo singer from one of those bands. She refers to herself as a white witch. You guys have got this!

Whew. I was actually using pretty much all the information in the clues correctly all along, but was getting tripped up somewhere else, making some bad assumptions. I enjoyed scrolling through all the 80s songs, though. Lots of memories of sitting in front of MTV, watching the same videos over and over.

Nudge #3 was a hard shove that brought this from KAS 4.98 down to KAS 2.

Needed the nudges. Just wasn’t on my radar without them. Well constructed, Al. You have the knack.

In a moment of poor taste, in our last band job before the world shut down, we did "My Corona," parodying the Knack's only hit.
