Ticket to Ride (First meta)

#1

Post by Djquimby »

98% lurker here - I happened upon something that could make for a really good meta, so I made a...possibly good?....meta.

Ticket to Ride

Hard to judge the difficulty level, but let me know what you think. I'll throw a 2.5 out there and see if it sticks. Have a guess, need a hint, provide a suggestion? PM me!

Where are the clues for 40 and 42 down. Hope this isn’t a spoiler!

Any chance of getting a puz file on this?

just got 16A - fantastic clue, took me a looong time to get that one.

9A/11D is the only letter left on the grid for me.

52D is a new word for my vocabulary, but probably not going to be used very often, wife & daughters might not appreciate my street cred.

This is either harder than a 2.5, or I'm just not seeing it -- the latter of which being more likely.

Though I remain intrigued. So I'll return to staring at the grid soon.
