Square Pursuit: "Wild Night Out"

#1

Post by ChrisKochmanski »

Nice variety cryptic, befitting the season, here: https://squarepursuit.com/2020/10/17/va ... night-out/

Steve Mossberg ... Have you seen his name on other puzzles? First I've head of this constructor. But then, I don't always notice who the author is.

Next I'll try his regular cryptic, from October 3. It's said to be HARD.

Thanks for the heads up. I gave the October 3 a go. Yes, hard and then some. Worked and worked my way through it but had to throw in the towel when I was left with 24A.

I got most of the October 3 puzzle, after much agony, then threw in the towel too. Can't remember exactly how much I left unsolved. Enough to make me feel not so proud of my cryptic solving skills.
