Thanks for posting these! I have much better luck solving them than the wild varieties HEX posts at WSJ!

You’re quite welcome. I have found that familiarity with HEX’s style in these National Post puzzles helps me with their fiendish WSJ offerings. I spend the better part of my time on the WSJ puzzles just solving clues, before I start filling in the grid.
